I want to draw attention to the ways in which I became inspired to love stories and to write them. Starting with my grandparents and their wonderful stories. Spending time listening to them as I grew up and even now has helped to fuel my imagination. Another thing that made me stumble upon the love of literature was a book reading contest in the fourth grade. I did not read the top amount of books but it was then that I started to engage in reading.
